The same heat pump, on the same house, can run at a Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) of 4.2 or 2.4 depending entirely on the install. We design for the higher number, every time. We install Mitsubishi Ecodan, Vaillant aroTHERM plus, Daikin Altherma, and Samsung EHS air source heat pumps for retrofit and new-build Cheshire properties.
